Peacefully entered into rest after a valiant battle at Carlingview Manor Long Term Care Home, Ottawa, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Janet Robbins of Ottawa, formerly of Picton, died at the age of 73.  She is predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Stafrace and Bradley DeMille, and her parents Phillip Stark (father), Solomon Robbins (step-father), and survived by her mother Violet Loner (nee McIvor-Robbins). Jan was the loving mother to Maria Stafrace (Christian Dupont), Dawn Middleton (Jay Middleton), and Phillip Stafrace (Debralee Chapman). She was the loving grandmother to Daphné, Quinn, Loïc, Rowan, and Connor. Jan was the beloved sister of Terry Robbins (Lydia), Verna Dubray (Tony), Irene Robbins (Paul Goodmurphy), Cherie Longhurst (Murry), and Tina Robbins and she will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Ms. Robbins is resting at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450) for visitation on Wednesday, April 6 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Father George Okoye in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Picton on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 2 p.m.  Spring Interment and Rite of Committal with Prayers at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Picton.
