And so another year comes when Community Care has been unable to source free calendars for seniors.  For years we had free calendars available but then our sources dried up.

One of the reasons, we’re told, that seniors really liked the one calendar in particular is because it had the cheque dates listed on it.  You can find the OAS and CPP payment dates on the Federal Government website at this link and click on “payment calendar”

The 2024 payment dates have already been posted on the government website.  Here they are below!  You can either clip this column or write the dates on your own calendar.

Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security payment dates for 2024 – January 29, 2024, February 27, 2024, March 26, 2024, April 26, 2024, May 29, 2024, June 26, 2024, July 29, 2024, August 28, 2024, September 25, 2024, October 29, 2024, November 27, 2024, December 20, 2024.

Veteran disability pension payment dates for 2024 – January 30, 2023, February 27, 2023, March 30, 2023, April 27, 2023, May 30, 2023, June 29, 2023, July 28, 2023, August 30, 2023, September 28, 2023, October 30, 2023, November 29, 2023.

We’ll keep looking for sources of free calendars. In the meantime, we’re hoping that the list of dates above is helpful to you.

Other important dates you might find useful are for our Active Living Programs for December.  Seniors 60+ are invited to get active, make friends, be well!  Prince Edward Community Care offers over 50 online events each month for seniors 60+.
