SMITH, Lois Patricia “Pat” 
Sept. 20th 1934 – Feb. 14th 2023
Our mom taught us everything except how to live without her…. Our hearts are broken, the sweetest, strongest woman that we have ever known passed away peacefully with her girls by her side. We cannot believe how fortunate we were to call her mom and our best friend. Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend. Pat was brought into the world on September 20th 1934 by Sherman and Effie Thompson. Pat was predeceased by her late husband Laverne “Spike” Smith with whom she spent many wonderful years. Together they had three daughters Penny/Late Robert Ferguson, Pam/Brian Jewell, Kim/Jody Attwells. Pat was predeceased by her sisters Phyliss Palmateer, Dawn Caniff and Sandra Sallans, and brothers Jack, Ross and Berley Thompson. Pat was loved by her many grandchildren, Rob, Jason, Mark Ferguson, Jordan Jewell, Casey and Abby Attwells. Great Grandchildren, Deidre, Drew, Kalen and Riley. Great-Great-Grand daughters Isabella and Rue. We would like to thank the McFarlane Home for all the wonderful care they gave her in the short time she was there, and all their support and kindness through her passing. Also, to Picton Hospital and Dr. Johansson for all their warmth and kindness during her time there. Very Special thank you to the Maples Home for all your kindness and care and most of all making mom feel like she was home. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
