Taste That! the County’s Artisanal Comedy Troupe returns to Mount Tabor Playhouse starting this weekend with an all new holiday comedy sketch show entitled “It’s a Wonderful New Life!

Offering up a festive blend of improv, music and sketch comedy, the County’s own laugh squad promises to put some special plum in your pudding again this year with a humorous and irreverent look at all things Prince Edward County —  and beyond.

They say bells ringing help angels get their wings, but apparently people laughing has the same effect, so we’re just trying to do our part” said cast member Paul Snepsts.

Besides, getting your jingle on over the holidays is good for the jangle,” added music director Sam Hirst.

It’s a Wonderful New Life! has been developed by cast members Beth Easton, Lenny Epstein, Karen Lupu-Jacobsohn, Gavin North, Julianne Snepsts, Glenn Wallis, Susan Wallis and Candace Wilkins with contributions from Ryan Aldred and Vincent de Tourdonnet complete with musical direction by Hirst.

The show runs Dec. 15,16, 29-30 at Mt. Tabor Playhouse in Milford with curtain set to draw at 8 p.m.

Advance tickets are $15 and can be purchased on-line at www.tastethatcomedy.com and in person at Belleville and Prince Edward County retailers.

Tickets will be available at the door for $20.

It’s a Wonderful New Life is sponsored by The County Cider Company, Hartford and Stein Group, 99.3 County FM, Aaro Concepts, Athol Rec Committee, The County Canteen, Picton Home Hardware, Terra Estate Winery and Zest Kitchen Shop.
