Three residents face a litany of drug charges following a Wednesday night raid on a Picton home.
Trevor Hennessy, 40, and Brianna Skuffham-Connolly, 22, both of Picton, and Brandon Wannamaker, 37, of Milford, have been charged with multiple counts of drug trafficking. Mr. Hennessy and Ms. Skuffham-Connolly were also charged with possession of stolen goods and of a prohibited device or ammunition for dangerous purposes.
A search warrant for a residence on Evans Street revealed over 190 grams of suspected cocaine, 12 grams of suspected ecstasy (MDMA), and over $15,000 in cash. The OPP also seized items associated with drug trafficking and approximately $20,000 worth of jewelry.
The OPP’s East Region Community Street Crime Unit began an investigation into local drug trafficking this fall. Officers with the Crime Unit, assisted by the Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team members, the Canine Unit and police officers brought a search warrant to a residence on Evans Street in Picton.
Following the raid, Mr. Hennessy and Ms. Skuffham-Connolly were held pending a bail hearing. Mr. Wanamaker was released and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton at a later date.
