Tommy Youngsteen, the 12-piece all-star band that boasts members and alumni of Stars, the Sam Roberts Band, The Trews and The Arkells, hits the stage at The Eddie Hotel & Farm to present Rumours, the 1977 Fleetwood Mac album on Friday 8 November.

The band gets around. One weekend in Ottawa they present the best of Paul Simon, the next weekend they are at the Horseshoe Tavern to do Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA. Music from the Rolling Stones and The Band are other Tommy staples.

“The Rumours album is just so jammed with wonderful music; it feels like one big long single,” says front man Alan Snoddy. “It’s one of the most popular shows that we do and we tend to get a lot of women at that show who love hearing Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie songs live. And when there’s women, there’s men,” he said with a laugh. “That usually helps ticket sales.”
