Prince Edward OPP have arrested two men in connection with stabbing that took a Prince Edward County man to Kingston General Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit Friday night.
At 11:15 p.m., officers from the Prince Edward County detachment responded to a report of an assault with a weapon outside the Circle K convenience store on Paul Street.
The victim’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
Two people were arrested in connection with the incident. They remain in custody and are scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on Tuesday, October 28.
The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by members of the Prince Edward County OPP, the Prince Edward County Crime Unit, and the OPP Forensic Identification Services.
