Thomas “Gary” Welch
December 11, 1941 – May 13, 2021
Received into the arms of his heavenly Father on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Picton, Ontario.  Beloved husband of Lynne Marie Welch (nee Anderson) of 57 years.  Son of Enid Bazlik (Robert), both predeceased.  Loving father of Jim Welch (Penny), Susan Welch (Paul Lalonde), Russell Welch (Heather), and Lisa Collins (Matthew).  Dearly missed by his grandchildren Amanda Bronson (Gregory Clancy), Matthew Bronson, Alexandra and Luke Welch, Jacob, Grace and Jonathan Welch, and Victoria, Zachariah and Elijah Collins.  Proud great-grandfather of Jarek Clancy.  Friend and brother to Neil Anderson (Robbie), Brian Anderson (Elaine), Kathy Ferguson (Bill), Paul Anderson (Debbie), and Mark Anderson (Carol). He lived a life of service to others, at church, coaching, volunteering, and driving for Wheels of Hope and Community Care for Seniors, to name a few.
A man of strong faith with a ministry of being present in peoples’ lives. 1 Peter 1: 3-5
Mr. Welch is resting at the Whattam-Hicks Funeral Home, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450).  A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held at a later date to be announced.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation “Back the Build” would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences at: www.rushnellfamilyservices.com
