WHALEN, Shirley Ann (nee Hineman)
Peacefully at home on Thursday March 30th 2023 Shirley entered into rest after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 77. Daughter born March 17th 1946 to Stella and Willard Hineman of Picton. Survived by her loving husband Denton Whalen. Dear Mother of Carol Lightfoot and Richard Lightfoot (Heather). Cherished Grandmother of Cassandra Bosley (Matt), Cody Lightfoot, Carter Lightfoot, Zoe Stechnicki (Miguel), Josh Stechnicki (Lynsey). Loving Great Grandmother to Alice & Oliver Bosley. Survived by her sisters Beatrice Rosseau and Norma Thompson. Predeceased by sister Olive Mifflin, Noreen Markland, Louise Monroe and Big Brother Bill Hineman. Shirley will be fondly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Shirley will be remembered by her family and friends for he uncanny wit and sense of humour. Spring interment (date to be finalized and shared) at Glenwood Cemetery for immediate family followed by a celebration of life for all family and friends.
