With great sadness we announce the passing of Eleanor May Wright (Cole) Passed away peacefully to be with her heavenly family on Monday February 28, 2022, in her 89th year. Daughter of the late Andrew Kerr (Roxie) Pearl.  Widow of Stewart Wright and Douglas Cole.  Cherished mother of  Karen Steen, Art (Pat) Cole, Kristine McDermott, Susan Aide, Laura (Al) Johnson, Marvin (Cindy) Cole, Sharleen (Edward) Brady. Predeceased by sons; Fred and Edward Cole. Predeceased by daughter-in-law, Cuneria (Breedyk) Cole. Also survived by daughters-in-law; Betty and Linda Cole as well as step-son; William (Susan) Wright. Fondly remembered by all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  Cherished sibling of Floyd (Shirley), Hellen, Percy (Margaret), Marjorie (Paul) Twigg, Marvin (Wendie), Allan, Evelyn (Ken) Hennessy, Lyle (Val), Phillip (Bernice), Paul (Jennifer), Lois, David (Lyn), Rebecca, Mark (Bev) and Donald (Joni). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Friday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment, Hicksite Cemetery, Bloomfield in the Spring. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to Delta Baptist Church would be appreciated.
