YOUNG, Joyce Catherine

Peacefully entered into rest at the Belmont Long Term Care Facility, Belleville, on Sunday, October 30, 2022, Joyce Young formerly of Picton died at the age of 94. She was the daughter of the late Duncan & Jane Richards (nee Lyell) and wife of the late George Alexander Young. Joyce was the loving mother of Andy (Sylvia), Doug (Helga), Cameron (Gail), Lorraine (Bill), Matthew (Janet), and Phil (Nicole). She was the dearest grandmother of Rebecca, Jennifer, Amanda, Meghan, Chris, Zak, late Sara, Elisabeth, Laura, Jurgen, Agnes, Nick and Penny and great grandmother of Jonathan, Richard, Aiden, Trevor, Phoebe, Sophie, Malcolm, Rosie, Nate and Murray. Joyce is survived by her brothers Donald Richards (late Anna) and Ian Richards (Carolyn), predeceased by her brother James Richards and her sister Frances Harris and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Young rested at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, King & Bowery Streets, Picton on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2 pm. with visitation for 1 hour prior to the Memorial Service. Rev.
