The Friends of the Bloomfield are having a Lilac Tea on May 24th to celebrate our library's renewal and rejuvenation this past year.

Come see what has happened to our library with the support of our community and the library we have:
-We have expanded children’s area with right sized furniture and a play rug. It is become a place where parents and children can meet, play and begin a lifelong love of reading.
– The new carpeting, a fresh coat of paint, handsome new bookcases plus new tables and chairs the main meeting area is becoming a place where our community can gather, socialise and learn.

As a nod to the history Bloomfield Lilac Teas and founding the of our building by the Women’s Institute 102 years ago we will be doing a planting of a lilac bush in front of the library. There will be tea and cupcakes, a book sale, a Mother Goose Selfie Frame and of course lilacs!
