In this course, we will paint on fabric and discover the alchemy of natural dyes. We will move through every step of the textile painting process: scouring and prepping our fibre, creating a mordant paste, painting on fabric, creating chalk baths, and dyeing with natural material. You’ll start with small handkerchief-sized studies, then design and dye a larger personal piece—either as a wall hanging, table runner, or fabric panel you can transform later.

This course is perfect for curious beginners.
