Details

Designed for ages 8-12, this hands-on workshop is led by artist Sara Keller, who will introduce participants to the magic of cyanotype, a historic photographic process that uses sunlight to create bold Prussian blue prints, often called sun prints.

Using plants and found objects, participants will create unique images exposed with UV light.
They’ll experiment with fresh and pressed plants, string, stones, glass, and other materials while learning about composition, shadow, and layering. Along the way, they’ll collaborate, share ideas, and create in a supportive environment!

Each participant will take home 3 to 5 finished prints. No experience is needed. All supplies are included.

This workshop is free for all participants.

Saturday, September 19th, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

This FREE workshop is part of Ontario Culture Days! Registration is required

Location – The County Arts Lab, Unit 2E, Picton Armoury Building
